ROAD TO GOLD March 14th, 2008 Polish American Club - Port Jefferson, NY -All Money is Legal defeated Team New Era -The Grim Reefer, Danny Demanto, Big Jim Sullivan & Sabu were the last 4 men remaining in the Smash Your A$$ Battle Royal. -Low Life Louie defeated Lenn Oddity in a New York Street Fight -Jay Lover defeated The Purple People Beater -Javi Air defeated Kriptic Keegan -The Alumni Club defeated Brian Anthony & Kristian Frost -Sabu & The Grim Reefer were the last two men remaining in a fatal four way elimination match. They would advance to the finals of the FTW World Heavyweight title tournament with the chance to become the first ever FTW World Champion.
END OF THE BEGINNING May 24th, 2008 Rapid Fire Arena - Moriches, New York -Jake “The Snake” Roberts & The Purple People Beater defeated The Rockstar & Jay Lover in a tag team match. -Team New Era defeated All Money is Legal in a 3 on 2 Handicap Match -Big Jim Sullivan defeated Bobby Ocean -Big Jim Sullivan defeated DJ Hyde -Danny Demanto defeated Bandido Jr. -Team Zero defeated Pretty Poison -The Third Reich defeated Team Zero -Javi Air defeated Dan Barry & Kristian Frost in a Triple Threat Match -Early in the night, The Grim Reefer was awarded the FTW World Heavyweight Title after Sabu failed to show up. TNA star Homicide confronted Reefer and the two had a match later that night. The Grim Reefer and Homicide fought to a no contest after interference from Jay Lover and Balls Mahoney.
