Hard hitting, athleticism, intensity....These are just a few of the words that comes to mind when thinking of these two FTW stars. Tony Nese and Josh Daniels lock horns for the first time in FTW. It will be another showcase of just what the FTW Gen-X division is all about. Nese was on fire since entering FTW earlier this year, winning his first 3 matches and earning himself an FTW Gen-X Championship match against Azrieal at St. Patty’s Day Brawl. A back and forth contest saw Nese come up short. He was granted a rematch at April’s Road To Gold against Azrieal and it looked like this time, he may walk out with the title. While the referee was attempting to fix the turnbuckle Azrieal had dislodged, Az nailed Nese with a low blow, giving him enough time to set up for the top rope double stomp and the victory. Nese tried to explain to the official after the match, but the decision stood and Azrieal retained the title. Now, Nese must attempt to climb the ladder once more and it starts with Josh Daniels at Desperate Measures. Daniels hadn’t seen action in an FTW ring since last July, after tearing his bicep late last summer. His return match against Dan Barry at Road To Gold showed he hasn’t missed a beat, picking up the win over Barry. It’s no doubt that Daniels would also love a shot at the FTW Gen-X Championship and a win here could put him in title contention.
