This will be a rematch from their first meeting at March of War, which took place at the Queens Elks Lodge. In that first meeting, it was evident that Von Schmidt was getting frustrated by the resiliency and uncanny amount of punishment that Oddity could take. The German Hammer slowly made his way to the outside, grabbed a chair, and cracked Oddity over the head with it. Von Schmidt was disqualified but pleased. Now, these two will meet, but this time all chair shots will be legal, among other things, because there will be no disqualification in this match. Josef Von Schmidt is the 2012 Road To Gold Rumble winner. An honor bestowed upon only 2 other men. With the victory, Von Schmidt has earned himself an FTW World Heavyweight Championship match whenever he pleases. Needless to say, he’s riding a huge wave of momentum going into this match. But who else could topple the mighty German and put a stop to his momentum train other than Lenn Oddity. Following their first encounter, Oddity felt Von Schmidt took the cowards way out, by smacking him with a chair. If he wanted a hardcore fight, all he had to do was ask. FTW fans know that Lenn never turns down a violent match. These two continue to build bad blood with each other and it could boil over at FTW Locked & Loaded on Saturday June 2nd from Center Island Sports in Ronkonkoma, Long Island New York!
